  • Food Service & Bar Staff

    Food Service & Bar Staff – Part-time (evenings and weekends ) and/or Full Time positions available

    Looking for passionate people able to deliver outstanding service and exceed the guests expectations in a 4 star hotel environment. The Ardencote is located in the Warwickshire Countryside and you will need to have your own transport.

    The role will involve in working in all our food and beverage areas including the Brasserie Restaurant & Bar and a busy wedding and events business.

    Shifts will primarily be evenings and weekends and can be flexible to allow you to fit the role around other important things in life!

    Main responsibilities will be:

    • Greeting and seating customers
    • Taking orders for food and drink
    • Serving food
    • Serving alcohol
    • Cleaning and resetting tables
    • Prep or side work
    • Preparing cheques and processing payments
    • Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and excellent safety standards

  • Chef de Partie

    Aim of the role:
    The aim of the Chef de Partie, is to assist in the preparation and service of food for guests and staff under the supervision of the senior chefs and to be responsible for the smooth running of their given section and to demonstrate the desire and motivation to maintain excellent standards throughout their daily routine.


    • To maintain a high standard of work in accordance with the Executive Head Chef’s instructions
    • To be an excellent communicator and help to maintain a great team
    • To appropriately assist in all tasks delegated within the section, having an ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
    • To accurately and calmly give instructions to junior members of the kitchen team
    • To maintain the correct levels of stock in agreement with senior chefs to minimise wastage of any sort
    • To Prepare, cook and serve food delegated as your responsibly. Ensuring that the highest possible quality is maintained and that agreed standards for preparation and presentation are met at all times
    • To have an understanding of menu planning, the implementation of stock controls and the importance of good stock management
    • To carry out daily procedures including temperature checks, food labelling, dating and the correct storage of food
    • To adhere to company procedures regarding labelling of foods and temperature checks
    • To assist with the receipt and delivery of foods and produce into the kitchen areas
    • To keep and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene
    • To be punctual for work and to report directly to the manager on duty upon arrival
    • To monitor stock movement and be responsible for ordering on your agreed section
    • You will always try to succeed even when under pressure and endeavour to show an ambition to further your progression
    • Shows a willingness to work and learn from others
