'Green' Milestone

Here at Ardencote Manor Hotel, Country Club and Spa we have created eco-friendly reputation, by planting 10,000 trees and plants in our grounds.

We have continued our 'green' initiative, by reaching the tree-planting milestone in our 83-acre estate, as part of an ongoing attempt to reduce our environmental footprint.

We have already been recognised for our commitment to the local environment, by becoming the first company in Warwickshire to be awarded with the County Council's prestigious Environmental Certificate.

Since then, we have continued to reduce waste by investing in eco-friendly alternatives throughout the hotel. Auto-switching lights have been fitted inside the building and a computerised room temperature monitoring system has been installed.

In addition to our energy-saving solutions, we recycle 85% of the hotel waste and ensure we purchase fruit and meat from local outlets.

Azhar Mian, Operations Manager at Ardencote Manor said, "Our 'green' initiatives are a vital part of maintaining the Ardencote estate, whilst also making sure that we do our bit for the environment, by setting a high standard as an example to others."

We also support the local community, by recruiting staff from nearby schools, colleges and neighboring towns. We hope to become a business icon, setting an example through our continued support to the local area and environment.

We are now looking into recycling food waste, by turning the remains into compost using a rocket system. We also plan to introduce energy-saving lighting into the car park and tennis courts.
