West Midlands Safari Park
There are 1700 magical animal encounters at the award-winning West Midland Safari Park and four fantastic miles of safari that is home to an array of wild and wonderful animals that includes Indian Rhino; Cheetah; Lions; Tigers; Giraffe and Elephants to name just a few.
What's more, as this is a self-drive safari in your own vehicle you even get the chance to feed some of the animals too – special diet animal food is available on arrival for a small charge. And, you can drive through as many times as you wish! Alternatively, if you prefer to be driven, then you are able to book a guided minibus tour for an extra charge – please ask when you arrive – it is always very popular, so early booking is recommended.
There's also a Discovery Trail showcasing Penguin Cove, Sea Lion Shows, Twilight Cave, Seaquarium, Reptile House, Creepy Crawlies and friendly animal encounters galore. The African Village is situated by the lakeside and is where "Meerkat Mayhem" and "Walking with Lemurs" can be found. Whilst the leisure area has a host of fun rides and attractions to suit all members of the family (extra charge).
