No 1 The Drive Par 3
white yards: 197 yards
yellow yards: 192 yards
red yards: 178 yards
A tough opening hole, the longest par 3 on the course. Your tee shot should be right of centre to avoid the mature tree guarding the left of the green.
No 2 The Lye Green Par 4
white yards: 289 yards
yellow yards: 284 yards
red yards: 253 yards
A par 4 that requires a plan from the tee - either lay up short of the pond (150 yards) or risk the carry of over 180 yards. A large oak on the right narrows this fairway.
No 3 Amen Corner Par 3
white yards: 335 yards
yellow yards: 328 yards
red yards: 324 yards
This stunning hole has been extended. Only a pinpoint accurate tee shot will enable a routine approach.
No 4 The Furlong Par 4
white yards: 357 yards
yellow yards: 351 yards
red yards: 303 yards
Out of bounds down the left side requires an accurate tee shot. A pond right of the green means care must be exercised with the approach shot.
No 5 The Dart Board Par 3
white yards: 129 yards
yellow yards: 97 yards
red yards: 87 yards
A wonderful short hole to test your nerve, the signature hole at the Ardencote, once played, never forgotten. A three here is a great score.
No 6 The Water Tower Par 3
white yards: 230 yards
yellow yards: 188 yards
red yards: 182 yards
Overhanging branches make this a testing tee shot from the back tee, which then makes the hole a par 4. Mature trees on the left feature from the forward tees.
No 7 The Switch Back Par 3
white yards: 166 yards
yellow yards: 162 yards
red yards: 155 yards
Going for the top tier of this green is a brave shot as trouble is not far away through the back.
No 8 The Perch Par 3
white yards: 138 yards
yellow yards: 121 yards
red yards: 106 yards
Another hole where water features from all the tees. Carry over water to a well protected green.
No 9 The Snake Pit Par 3
white yards: 190 yards
yellow yards: 186 yards
red yards: 182 yards
Out of bounds left and mature trees right require an accurate shot on this tough finishing hole.
The Rules of Golf as laid down by The Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews will apply.
