The Lodge cuisine is described in the 2006 Guide as 'British International' by the AA who have awarded the restaurant 2 rosettes. Executive Head Chef Luciano Catalinotto’s style is influenced by cuisines from around the world and his menus also feature innovative interpretation of classical English dishes and the more elaborate French classics.  Particular attention is made to the season, and to sourcing the very best of fresh local produce lodge terrace dinerssuch as Lighthorne lamb, barbary duck and rabbit.

As well as the A la carte menu, guests requiring a simpler, plain grilled main course can choose off the 'La Plancha' menu, with (or without) a choice of sauces, and all accompanied by choice of potatoes and side salad. The La Plancha Menu changes weekly - details available from Hotel Reception.

Vegetarians are well catered for with a choice of three starters which can be taken as main lodge main coursecourses, plus two extra main dishes to choose from.

Lodge staff are always happy to advise on wines to accompany your choice of dish.

Hotel Residents on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis are invited to take dinner in the Lodge, with a dinner allocation of £30 per adult.
